Winter Landscaping Tip

Water your Evergreen Trees in Sept and October.

Water can evaporate in the winter through the needles and can cause winter burn.  If you notice a dry fall, it is a good idea to give your evergreens a few good soaks in the fall to help keep them hydrated through the winter.  Plants that suffer drought are weakened and more susceptible to damage. As a general rule, each evergreen should receive at least an inch of water every week. Don’t depend on a sprinkler to do the job.
